После этого школьники употребляют но­вое слово в атрибутивно-именных сочета­ниях, отвечая на вопрос учителя: What kind of trips do you know? Ребята назы­вали: a bicycle trip, a car trip, a bus trip, a boat trip, a sea trip, a Sunday trip, a business trip и т. д. Могут быть и такие ответы: a short bicycle trip, a long trip in a car, a holiday bus trip to ., a wonderful boat trip on the lake, a summer trip to the south и т. д.

Затем тренировка проводится в виде диалога по цепочке. В вопросах и ответах учащиеся используют глагольно-именные сочетания, с которыми были ознакомлены: to make a . trip to ., to go on a . trip to ., to plan a trip to . .

P1: Do you like to go on trips?

P2: Yes, I like trips very much. Where did you go on your last trip?

P3: I went to the country. Where did you go on your last trip?

P4: I went on a bus trip to Suzdal. Did you go on a trip to Suzdal last .?

P5: No, I didn’t, but I’d like to go there.

P6: I like bicycle trips in the park. Who did you go on the trip with?

P7: I went with . .

На этом этапе решается речевая задача определенной коммуникативной направлен­ности. После этого школьники готовят небольшие сообщения по теме «My Summer Trip». Например:

P1: Last summer our family went on a boat trip on the Moskva river. It was a short but interesting trip. We saw the Kremlin and other sights of our capital from the river.

P2: Last July my school friends and I went on a long bus trip to Yasnaya Polyana, where the great Russian writer Lev Tolstoy lived and worked. We spent the whole day there. It was a wonderful trip. I enjoyed it very much.

Проделанная тренировочная работа под­готовила учащихся к выполнению учеб­ных заданий в чтении и устной речи. Пополнив запас активного словаря новой лексикой, ученики успешно справились с устным и письменным домашним заданием по теме «A Trip».
